We visited MiDAS (Milun Fault Drilling and All-inclusive Sensing project) observatory in Hualien to learn about the distributed acoustic sensing.
MiDAS Observatory

Qixingtan Beach
Qixingtan Beach is the beautiful arc-shaped coast with 15 km long.
We can observe the surface displacement by the Milun Fault.
MiDAS observatory is located in front of the Qixingtan Beach.
I was really satisfied with this visit and acknowledge their kind support by the MiDAS group led by Prof. Kuo-Fong Ma . Our photos for the visit are also exhibited in the E-DREaM Homepage (Earthquake Disaster & Risk Evaluation and Management Center, National Central University).
